Kristin Chenoweth shocks ‘Family Feud’ host Steve Harvey with NSFW answer
Time to call the censors because Kristin Chenoweth gave a pretty NSFW answer during an episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.”
The Broadway icon, 54, appeared on Sunday’s episode and left host Steve Harvey, as well as viewers, astounded with her naughty answer to the question: “We asked 100 women: After the lips, what’s your favorite part of a man to kiss?”
Chenoweth quickly buzzed in and, after a pause, answered: “Rhymes with ‘heinous,’” though the Tony winner’s answer — a reference to one’s posterior — was bleeped.
Harvey, 65, looked stunned and had to turn away from her in order to collect his thoughts before moving on.
However, Chenoweth’s opponent, actress Kathy Najimy, couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’m sorry. I’m a good Christian girl. Forgive me!” said “Bewitched” star Chenoweth. “I’m sorry,” she later mouthed to the rest of the players.
The singer was competing in order to raise money for the Kristin Chenoweth Arts & Education Fund.
Later in the round, Harvey teased Chenoweth’s gaffe.
“‘Nicest woman I’ve ever met,’” he said, alluding to how he had introduced the Oklahoma native earlier during the show. “’Oh, my God, I can just tell you’re a wonderful person’ … Welcome to Sunday night TV, folks!”
Despite the funny but awkward moment, Chenoweth was able to score $25,000 for her charity — and viewers were still able to have a laugh on social media.
“We haven’t even gone 5 minutes and we got the bleep button. Good Christian Girl. Bruh,” a user joked on Twitter in response to the episode.
“The game just started and it’s already getting dirty #CelebrityFamilyFeud,” one added.
Another fan chimed in: “You know it is going to be a good episode when they bleep the first answer!”
“Wow, Kristin Chenoweth is getting dirty tonight … #CelebrityFamilyFeud,” someone noted.
One commented on the YouTube clip: “Why did they censor the word ‘heinous?’”
“Say what? Can u say that on tv????” another asked.
