Conan O’Brien, Tracy Morgan, John Mulaney headline New York Comedy Festival
This year’s New York Comedy Festival has announced its star-studded headlining line-up.
John Mulaney, Conan O’Brien, Jenny Slate, Wanda Sykes and Tracy Morgan are just some of the big names fans can expect at venues across NYC’s five boroughs.
The festival, which will boast a 200-strong line-up, will open on Nov. 7 and run through Nov. 13.
Other confirmed acts include Jimmy O. Yang, JB Smoove, Bassem Youssef and Jo Koy. The rest of the line-up can be expected to be announced closer to the time.
Though the festival is returning for its 18th year, this year’s event is guaranteed to be a special one as it’s expanding to Long Island’s Nassau County for the first time ever, according to the festival’s website.
“To come together and experience the best in stand-up comedy and shared laughter is more important than ever,” Caroline Hirsch, the festival’s founder, said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The Festival has grown over the past 18 years, as we continue to shine a spotlight on the industry’s biggest and brightest stars and the most talented up-and-comers, and reach new and expanding audiences through an amazing line-up of talented and diverse artists,” Hirsch added.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 19, at noon EST at nycomedyfestival.com.
