Tennessee police report multiple bystanders wounded in Chattanooga shooting

Multiple young bystanders were shot in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday night during a shootout, reports said.

Police said that the victims, which included teenagers, were wounded after a shooting erupted, WTVC reported. 

None of those injured are believed to have been involved in the incident, cops said.

The victims were transported to local hospitals in unknown conditions.

It’s not clear how many were injured at this time.

Police have detained one suspect and said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
