William, Kate, Harry, Meghan avoid reunion at Queen’s funeral

The royal family gathered on Monday to lay their beloved Queen Elizabeth to rest.

While viewers and mourners alike were wondering if there would be a tense reunion between warring brothers Prince William and Prince Harry and their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, the “Fab Four” managed to avoid one during the services.

During the service at St. George’s Chapel, the new Prince and Princess of Wales’ kids Charlotte, 7, and George, 9, separated the adults and seemingly barred them from interaction.

Earlier in the day for the state funeral at Westminster Abbey, Harry and Meghan were snubbed, seated in the second row behind the royal family.

William, 40, Harry, 38, Meghan, 41, and Kate, 40, attended the ceremony alongside the rest of the royal family Monday. During the marches, the brothers stood nearby one another and seemed united in their grief in order to commemorate the life of their grandmother.

Queen Elizabeth will be buried in St. George’s Chapel alongside her husband Prince Philip at Windsor Castle. Her private burial service will be attended by only her close family.

The famed foursome reunited several times throughout the week in the wake of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

On Saturday, Harry and William stood vigil alongside their cousins — Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn by the casket of their beloved grandmother — as their wives looked on at Westminster Hall.

As Harry and Meghan are nonworking royals, they were also “uninvited” from the pre-funeral reception on Sept. 17 — and only learned of the snub from the press.

The America-based couple was also a part of the royal family’s procession where Queen Elizabeth’s coffin was moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on Sept. 14. After bringing in the casket, the family stood for a brief church service together.

Middleton allegedly appeared to shoot icy daggers at her sister-in-law during the walkabout.

The Fab Four have had a rocky relationship since Markle and Harry decided to take a step back from royal duties and moved to Montecito, California in 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex later dropped some bombshell claims in a shocking tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
