Teen arrested for theft of services charge in slaying of NYC cabbie Kutin Gyimah

A 16-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with last month’s killing of a New York City taxi driver in Queens, police said.

The unidentified teen was charged with theft of services and is the latest piece of the puzzle in a crime that stunned the city. The NYPD announced the Aug. 25 arrest on Friday night.

Kutin Gyimah, 52, a married father of four young kids, was fatally injured Aug. 13 when he chased down passengers who tried to rob him, police said.

Gyimah was dropping off the five people around 6:30 a.m. at Beach 54th Street and Arverne Boulevard in the Rockaways when the senseless violence unfolded.

He ran after the group to confront them when at least one of the passengers took a swing at the cabbie, sending him flying to the street, where he cracked his head near Arverne Playground, police said.

The would-be thieves then took off toward Beach Channel Driver, security footage obtained by The Post from a nearby bodega, Deli from the Block, showed.

Two men and a teenage girl turned themselves into police video emerged of the deadly attack, police said.

Austin Amos and Nickolas Porter, both 20, surrendered to cops at the 101st Precinct in Queens days after the high-profile incident for allegedly skipping out on a taxi fare and fatally beating Gyimah.

She is the final teen involved with the slaying to be arrested.

Porter was charged with gang assault and theft of service while Amos was hit with theft of service, assault, gang assault and manslaughter raps for allegedly delivering the final blow that killed Gyimah.
