Bride’s gown caught on fire walking down aisle at wedding
This bride got a little too lit at her wedding.
A TikToker was blissfully unaware that her dress caught on fire as she walked down the aisle.
A user, who goes by the name @holblythe on the platform, shared a video of the fiery mishap.
“Providing the entertainment down the aisle,” she captioned the TikTok she posted on Sept. 12.
Her wide tulle gown had brushed against an array of lit candles that were sprinkled along the sides of the aisle as she walked toward the altar.
“Keep watching to see my whole dress nearly go up in flames twice and me not even noticing!” she wrote on TikTok.
Eagle-eyed guests quickly jumped when they saw the smoky dress, helping to rapidly put it out.
The hot snap has been burning up the social media platform, garnering more than 53,000 views since it was posted.
Users were fired up in the comments section, sharing their shock and amusement at the same time.
“Okay note to self. No candles in the aisle,” one wrote.
Someone else advised: “Photographer here and candles around the ceremony chairs are the worst! People knock them down constantly and break them”
“Noted. no candles on floor with poofy dress,” another chimed in.
“Oh gosh! You definitely had someone protecting you that day,” one person commented.
