Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen divorce inspiring viral posts
Here comes the Saturday morning quarterbacking.
Social media has been having a field day with the news that NFL quarterback Tom Brady, 45, and supermodel Gisele Bündchen, 42, are dunzo.
Consider this viral post from a man who proclaimed that Bündchen leaving Brady is “stupid” and that she won’t have success in “the dating pool.”
“I’m laughing at ANYONE who thinks Gisele Bündchen, of all people, will [have] a problem finding another man, if she wants one. Be for real,” one Twitter user replied.
Jokes have already been made about how Bündchen can now move on to comedian Pete Davidson, 28, who has become known for dating older women and those on the rebound, such as Kim Kardashian and Kate Beckinsale.
“Pete Davidson [is] probably outside Gisele Bündchen’s house right now,” one person wrote.
While a curious number of men wrung their hands online about the supermodel’s dating prospects, one person wryly clapped back, “She’s a millionaire Brazilian Supermodel, your dating pool is not her dating pool, I’ll tell ya that. She’ll be fine. Also, there’s nothing stupid about what she chose to end her marriage over, she feels THAT strongly about it, and that’s okay.”
Another man tried to say that Bündchen won’t be appealing to men because she is a “42 year old single mother.” That didn’t go over well.
“This man is talking about Gisele and I am hollering!” one aghast person wrote.
Other people took aim at Brady’s skills on and off the field, commenting, “If you ever feel bad about the choices you’ve made in life just remember that tom brady stopped having sex with and then got divorced from gisele bundchen to play one final season of some of the most dogsh-t quarterbacking you can imagine.”
And still others made fun of the continuous news cycle.
Brady and Bündchen are asking for privacy as they co-parent their kids together: Jack, 15 (who is from Brady’s previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan), Benjamin Rein, 12, and Vivian Lake, 9.
“We wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” Brady said in a statement.
