Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ ‘GMA’ affair scandal: Astrologist explains

Good Morning scandal.

In a year of home wrecking and heart breaking, “GMA3” co-anchors TJ Holmes and Amy Robach are the latest celebrities accused of stepping out on their spouses.

News broke in early December that the two were balls deep and months in to a torrid extramarital affair. More recently, NBC announced their decision to take the pair off air citing their relationship being a source of “internal and external distraction.”

Lines between profession and passion allegedly blurred when the two began training for the NYC half marathon in early 2022. Endorphins were pumping, the sweet rotten smell of the city at dawn was wafting and the sound of expensive sneakers on filthy pavement gave way to raised heart rates and spiking libidos. It’s a classic recipe for adultery, folks.

The two reportedly left their respective spouses for one another in August and were seen “canoodling” (a word second only to “moist” as the least endearing in the English language) in New York.

In the wake of news of their affair being made public, Robach’s divorce from Pisces husband Andrew Shue, who looks like a Kennedy or the kind of actor that would play one, is being finalized. The pair wed in 2010 following her split from Tim McIntosh, father to her two teenage daughters. For his part, Holmes was reportedly in the process of repairing his marriage to wife Marilee Fiebig, an immigration attorney, at the time his romantic liaison with Robach began. Holmes and Fiebig, an immigration attorney, have weathered infidelity in the past but looked to be on the road to reconciliation, celebrating his birthday together in the Bahamas in August. Sigh. The former couple share one child, daughter Sabine.

Robach and Holmes’ situation is messy, human, glaringly public and apparently, a thorn in the side of their Sagittarius GMA co-worker Robin Roberts for years. And to make matters even worse, “GMA3” anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been taken off the air amid their bombshell affair scandal. What do the stars spell for these good looking, badly behaved pair of news anchors? Read on to learn more.

Opposites attract and intrigue

Robach’s Mars, planet of will and action, is in good time loving, consequence shrugging Sagittarius suggesting she is down to clown and roll the dice where reckless sex is concerned.

Born August 19, 1977, TJ Holmes is a Leo sun with a diplomatic Libra moon, a vulnerable Cancer Venus and a waffling Gemini Mars. By contrast and opposition, Amy Robach, born February 6, 1973, is a an Aquarius sun with a squishy Pisces moon, an objective Aquarius Venus and an IDGAF Sagittarius Mars. In astrology, the sun is our core identity and shines a light on the path we are meant to walk towards self-actualization.

As a Leo and Aquarius, Holmes and Robach’s sun signs are polarities, meaning they sit exactly opposite one another on the zodiac wheel. As the adage maintains, opposites attract and polarities within a relationship indicate wild differences and deep intrigue. Of the two, Leo is the more demonstrative and romantic, willing to go big and bold when it comes to love. Aquarius is a bit more reserved and emotionally objective though Robach’s Mars, planet of will and action, is in good time loving, consequence shrugging Sagittarius suggesting she is down to clown and roll the dice where reckless sex is concerned.

Inside every Leo lives a child star that needs to be assured of their worth, fed strawberry Starbursts and told they are the sun itself.

Leos like Holmes stray when they begin to feel their significant other has ceased worshipping at the altar of their greatness, when the incense goes out and the compliments fall flat, they are prone to step out and seek the oxygenation of someone else’s attention. Trust, inside every lion is a child star that needs to be assured of their worth, fed strawberry Starbursts and told they are the sun itself.

Aquarius folk like Roebach make Leos like Holmes feel aspirational. Lions want to have the kind of cool, controlled, confident genius, fine being alone bearing that water bearers naturally possess. In terms of reciprocity, Leo encourages Aquarius to surrender to fun and Aquarius reminds Leo that what they do is more important than how they are seen.

In astrology, the moon represents our instincts, emotional needs and how we approach meeting them. The news that TJ Holmes’ wife was blindsided by the revelation of his affair speaks to his moon in Libra which tends to avoid ugly truths and difficult confrontations. Reports that suggest Holmes was back and forth and on again, off again with his wife are also indicative of his hot and cold, terminally indecisive, absolutely maddening Mars in Gemini. The beauty of a Libra moon is the ability to sense when relationship dynamics are off or equitability is threatened. The failure of Libra moons lies in their inability to address these differences and disparities directly.

Robach’s moon is in squishy, escapist Pisces. With this lunar placement there’s a strong suggestion that Robach loves a flight of fancy and anything that aids and abets avoiding reality. Often, Pisces moon people will seek escape/oblivion in drugs, alcohol, and or another person. There’s a real need to dissolve and disappear with a Pisces moon, as such, it’s the natural habitat of love addicts and lushes. Leo suns like Holmes relish a Pisces moon that will pet them all day and conveniently overlook their flaws. The lunar Pisces will swaddle the lion in praise and gossamer, promises and delusion so long as the Leo in question speaks softly and cries easily.

What’s in the stars?

It’s always a touch dicey when a relationship starts out in the frying pan of infidelity – it’s hot and it burns and trust will likely always struggle to grow in the scorched earth that follows. History shows that it is possible for love to flourish for a time after and within infidelity, looking at you Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, Jessica Sklar and Jerry Seinfeld, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott and perhaps most famous, fraught and fated of all, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. Not for nothing folks, these pairings are positively AWASH in water placements. Whose to say if Holmes and Robach will sink or swim now that the allure of the illicit has been replaced with the fraught freedom of all cards on the table. As a resident romantic I root for love in all its torrid, myriad forms, and hope all parties, scorned and scorners alike, find evolution in and wholeness through, their relationships.
