Amy Robach, TJ Holmes new podcast after affair, ‘GMA3’ exit

Former ABC anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes aren’t letting a scandal stop them.

The duo are launching a podcast and also making their affair relationship “official.”

In a new Instagram post they both shared on Wednesday, the two former “GMA3: What You Need to Know” anchors smiled together, with their arms around each other.

“How’s this for instagram official? #silentnomore,” they wrote in the caption.

Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, then announced that they are teaming up for the podcast, “Amy & T.J.,” launching with iHeartRadio on Dec. 5.

Holmes settled his divorce from his his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig, on Oct 12, 11 months after his affair with co-host Robach went public. Robach finalized her divorce from actor Andrew Shue in March 2023.

News of Holmes and Robach’s affair made headlines in November 2022.

A source told Page Six their romance began that March, around the time they were training together for the New York City Half Marathon.

“They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret. The producers at ‘GMA’ are shocked to hear they are having an affair,” the source said.

After that scandal broke, Holmes and Robach were yanked off the air.

ABC News President Kim Godwin told staffers that the sordid situation had become too much of an “internal and external distraction.

“After a lot of thought, I am taking Amy and T.J. off the air as we figure this out,’’ Godwin said.

She said that while Holmes and Robach’s alleged affair was “not a violation of company policy,” the decision to take them out of their anchor chairs during the daily 1 p.m. show was necessary for the “GMA” brand.

Further allegations then surfaced that Holmes had prior affairs with junior staffers at ABC News.

Those reports spiraled into an investigation by ABC News, which ultimately led to their ouster from in January. The network did not disclose the findings of the probe, but both Holmes and Robach hired lawyers to negotiate their exit packages at the time.

As the disgraced duo tried to pitch other networks, nobody was biting.

CBS Media Ventures — the syndicate arm of CBS that’s responsible for daytime broadcasts like “Dr. Phil” and “The Drew Barrymore Show” — turned down a talk show proposal from the duo, The Post reported in March.

Insiders said CNN turned them down, too.

“If they did a talk show, what would they talk about? What’s their expertise — infidelity?” a source told The Post. “They’d take anything. I think they’d host a game show at this point.”

Apparently, “they’d take anything,” ended up resulting in them entering the podcasting space.

A press release from iHeartMedia says that the pair will host and executive produce their own podcast, in addition to collaborating on a “full slate of programming” for iHeartPodcasts.

“Hosts and executive producers Robach and Holmes are a formidable broadcasting team with decades of experience delivering headline news and captivating viewers nationwide. Now, the duo will get behind the microphone to explore meaningful conversations about current events, pop culture, and everything in between. Nothing is off limits,” it reads, before stating that their show “Amy & T.J.” will “mark the first time Robach and Holmes speak publicly since their own names became a part of the headlines.”
