Andy Cohen jokes about ‘good threesomes’ with Anderson Cooper
Sharing is caring, according to Andy Cohen.
The Bravo head honcho, 54, joked about his relationship with friend Anderson Cooper – and the threesomes they could have during an appearance Wednesday on the Sherri Shepherd’s eponymous daytime talk show.
While bantering about threesomes and dating, Shepherd said, “I threw in Anderson’s name because you guys get along so well together.”
Cohen then interrupted, joking, “We could have some good threesomes, me and Anderson.”
He continued, giving some more insight into his longtime friendship with the 55-year-old journalist.
“Because, by the way, excuse me, that is what it would take, because we are truly just friends,” Cohen explained.
Representatives for Cooper had no comment.
The Post also reached out to reps for Cohen.
His comments about threesomes come on the same day that he posted a racy pic to Instagram, recreating a nude photoshoot he had nearly 30 years ago in honor of Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
While on the show, the “Real Housewives” king did admit that he and Cooper had become a lot “closer” in recent years, likening their relationship to being like “brothers.”
“We’ve gotten so much closer over the years, and I just love him to death, and it’s also so fun being a part of a duo,” Cohen said.
“I’ve always been kind of a solo act, and it’s fun for us, you know, we’ve toured the country, 50-plus cities, and obviously we’re on New Year’s Eve every year, and we just have so much fun. I love him and I love making him giggle.”
In the past, Cohen and Anderson have sparked dating rumors, as they have an extremely close friendship, and the reality show producer doesn’t hesitate to share clips of their fun outings on Instagram.
They often work together, too, and have been hosting CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” program alongside one another since 2017.
In 2015, they embarked on a tour together around the country which they called, “AC2,” hosting nights of conversation; it continued throughout 2019.
However, in interviews over the years, Cohen has made it clear that they are not dating – but the two actually were set up on a blind date once in the 1990s, which is how they initially met.
They never ended up meeting because Cooper didn’t like the sound of Cohen from a phone call, he admitted during a 2017 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Cooper acknowledged that Cohen had asked him about his mom, the famous artist and socialite, the late Gloria Vanderbilt.
“I knew within 45 seconds, I was never going on a date with Andy Cohen,” Cooper said during his appearance on the show.
“I imagined him in, like, a Bluetooth headset, gesticulating. He was all excited, and he violated my cardinal rule, which is he asked me about my mom within the first minute of talking to me.”
Cohen has previously been linked to Broadway actor John Hill, and Clifton Dassuncao, who was a Ph.D. student at Harvard.
Cooper is the father of two sons: Wyatt, 3, and 15-month-old Sebastian.
Cohen also is the dad of two children, Ben, 4, and Lucy, 1, both of whom were welcomed via surrogate.
