Angus Cloud’s rumored girlfriend mourns ‘Euphoria’ star
Angus Cloud’s rumored girlfriend Sydney Martin is mourning the “Euphoria” actor after his death Monday.
Cloud, whose real name is Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, died Monday at his family’s home in Oakland, California. He was 25.
Martin posted a series of Instagram Stories honoring Cloud, starting off with a story of seven broken heart emojis on a solid black background and later sharing a photo of Cloud and writing, “My heart is so broken. I love you forever.”
She also shared a video of Cloud smoking and wearing a furry hat with her smiling in the background, captioned, “A song he loved,” as well as a photo collage of the two of them cuddling and holding hands.
“I will never let the world forget you,” she wrote in another story showing some graffiti seemingly done by Cloud. “Bless bless 1 love.”
The graffiti art showed a Christmas tree with the words, “Merry X-Mas I love you – Angus 2021” painted over it.
Cloud, who portrayed Fezco, the fan-favorite teenage drug dealer on HBO’s “Euphoria,” died just one week after his dad was buried.
His “Euphoria” co-stars also mourned his passing.
“There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression,” the HBO show’s creator, Sam Levinson, told The Post in a statement Monday.
Levinson, 38, concluded: “I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”
Javon Walton — who portrayed Ashtray, the little brother of Cloud’s character — captioned an Instagram picture of themselves with “Rest easy brother.” The 17-year-old actor shared another snap on his Instagram Story, writing, “Forever family.”
Cloud’s family confirmed the star’s passing in a statement Monday to The Post: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
Cloud’s family revealed that he was grieving the loss of his father, Conor Hickey, who died in May after a brief cancer battle.
“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the family’s statement read.
The Oakland Fire Department told The Post they responded to a 911 call at Cloud’s Oakland home around 11:30 a.m. Monday for a medical emergency.
TMZ, which was the first to break the news, reported that Cloud’s mom made the call and mentioned a “possible overdose” after she reportedly found him without a pulse.
Although the family did not share a cause of death, the statement did confirm that Cloud was suffering mental health issues.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” the statement read. “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
