Apologetic Curran ‘deeply regrets’ umpire incident which led to four-match ban
“Sydney Sixers all-rounder Tom Curran had apologised and admitted he is “deeply sorry” for an incident with an umpire which resulted in a four-match ban. The incident, which happened in the build-up to a Big Bash fixture earlier in December, involved umpire Muhammad Qureshi and Curran who was punished for “intimidation or attempted intimidation of an umpire or match referee”.”
