Arnold Schwarzenegger on Trump’s 215lbs booking weight: ‘More like 315lbs’
Arnold Schwarzenegger is weighing in.
Appearing on the return of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday night, “The Terminator” actor was asked to give his take on former President Donald Trump’s claim that he weighs only 215 pounds in his Fulton County jail booking records.
“You are one of the foremost experts on the male physique, bodybuilding, etc.,” Kimmel tells the actor. “When you size him [Trump] up, what would you guess that man weighs?”
“You know, I don’t really know how much he weighs,” replied the former California gov, who was on the show to promote his new self-help book, Be Useful.
“I can tell you one thing, that if he would ask me what should he do for fitness, I would just say, ‘Run around yourself three times and you’re going to be in great, great shape.’”
Asking Schwarzenegger to clarify, Kimmel pressed, “So you think that it’s possible he weighs 215 pounds?”
“Yes, as much as it is possible that there is no climate change,” the former bodybuilder quipped. “And as much as it’s possible that we don’t need to reduce pollution.”
“Look, we all know the way he is, and if it makes him feel good to tell everyone he weighs 215 I think everyone laughs about it because he does not look like he weighs 215,” he went on. “He’s a little more like 315.”
Kimmel, who resumed his talk show Monday following the months-long industry-wide strike, poked fun at Trump’s weight throughout the show.
“Every time something happened in the news, I would get texts asking me if I was bummed we didn’t have a show that night,” Kimmel told the audience.
“Mostly, I was fine but the one that really got me was when they booked Trump in Georgia and he self-reported his weight at 215 pounds. I almost crossed the picket line for that.”
Referring to Judge Arthur F. Engoron, Kimmel continued, “If I was the judge in the case he has going on in New York right now, I’d start the trial and say, ‘Listen, we’re going to get to the fraud thing, but first hop up on this scale, big fella.”
“That means he’s 30 pounds lighter than his last physical. When he was President, he was 245 pounds, which means he’s either lying or the Colonel is now frying his chicken in Ozempic,” he quipped.
Trump surrendered to Fulton County authorities on Aug. 24 on charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
In documents, the 77-year-old’s pre-reported measurements indicated that the ex-POTUS is 215 pounds with a height of 6 feet, 3 inches, according to ABC News.
The reported weight is 25 pounds lighter than when he was booked in Manhattan in April.
What’s more, his listed height of 6 feet 3 inches put him in a class alongside the likes of boxer Muhammad Ali in his prime, and actor Chris Hemsworth when he played Thor.
