Australian Open 2023 Day 4: Order of play, schedule – When is Andy Murray v Thanasi Kokkinakis? Novak Djokovic plays
Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic are in action on the fourth day of the 2023 Australian Open.
Five-time finalist Murray will be looking to reach the third round for the first time since 2017, while Djokovic is aiming to continue his quest for a 10th title in Melbourne.
Three of the top-five ranked women – Ons Jabeur, Caroline Garcia and Aryna Sabalenka – are also taking to the court.

Top men’s match – Andy Murray v Thanasi Kokkinakis
Murray is back after his gruelling first-round win over Matteo Berrettini and the big question is how he will recover after nearly five hours on court.
Murray played some fine tennis to beat the 13th seed and will hope he can find the same level against Kokkinakis, whose opening match against Fabio Fognini spanned two days due to the wet weather.
Kokkinakis was a comfortable winner against Fognini but lost in straight sets the only previous time he played Murray back in 2015.
Top women’s match – Leylah Fernandez v Caroline Garcia
A tough one to pick as there are some intriguing women’s matches, including second seed Ons Jabeur against Marketa Vondrousova, fifth seed Aryna Sabalenka against Shelby Rogers, and Taylor Townsend v Ekaterina Alexandrova.
But Leylah Fernandez against Caroline Garcia looks the standout match.
Fernandez, who lost to Emma Raducanu in the 2021 US Open final, beat another Frenchwoman, Alize Cornet, in the opening round.
This will be her first meeting against fourth seed Garcia, who is looking to make the third round for the first time since 2019.
Brit watch
As well as Murray, British No. 2 Dan Evans is in action against veteran Frenchman Jeremy Chardy in the first match on Court 3.
