Austrian teacher Monika Rahel Ring who moonlighted as online ‘Orgasm Pope’ sex coach fired by school
A teacher in Austria got an F after talking too much about the big O.
An Austrian elementary teacher who called herself the “Orgasm Pope” was fired by the school where she worked over her side gig as an online sex coach for middle-aged adults.
The 47-year-old teacher, Monika Rahel Ring, is protesting her dismissal but will remain out of a teaching job after the local school board stood by its firing.
The educator didn’t just mold young minds, but also coached clients 45 and up on how to achieve an “explosive sex life with multiple orgasms” in her spare time, Austrian newspaper Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten reported.
Ring reportedly advertised her services on TikTok and Facebook, where she called herself the “Orgasm-pope.”
The school board said the teacher couldn’t have it both ways and demanded she pick her R-rated side gig – where paying customers could receive advice over Zoom — or her day job at the school before she was terminated right before Christmas, according to the local paper.
Education officials in the province of Upper Austria said in a recent statement to AFP it “immediately took the necessary steps to assess” Ring’s side hustle when it became aware, CBS News reported. The teacher was booted “after careful consideration,” the school board said.
“This decision was made after involving all the relevant parties, conducting the necessary investigations and after careful consideration,” head of the school board Alfred Klampfer said, according to Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten.
The fired staffer taught gym class at the school since 2016 and appears ready to fight to get her job back — or at least withheld severance pay — noting that she never appeared nude online or did anything pornographic.
Her ultimate goal as the Ogasm Pope was to help people 45 and older spice up their sex lives.
“I would have thought that a school board in the 21st century would be a bit more enlightened,” Ring’s lawyer said, according to CBS, which cited local media.
“Sex-ed” outside the classroom and sex work has led to trouble for school officials in the states as well.
Now-former University of Wisconsin chancellor Joe Gow was tossed from his job last year after it came out he films his own adult content with his wife, with the Board of Regents citing his “abhorrent” behavior in its statement.
A Missouri teacher was fired in October after school leaders discovered she had an OnlyFans account.
In 2022, two Arizona teachers who were married were canned when administrators became aware they filmed OnlyFans videos in one of their classrooms.
