Barnsley thrown out of FA Cup after fielding ineligible player
“Barnsley have been removed from the second round draw of the 2023/24 FA Cup after it was found they fielded an ineligible player during the clubu0027s first-round replay away to Horsham. The Tykes won the match 3-0 to set up a meeting with Sutton United but have now been thrown out of the competition after what has been described as a “regrettable error”.”
