‘Big Brother’ contestant Luke Valentine kicked off show after using N-word

“Big Brother” contestant Luke Valentine has been booted from the reality show after using the N-word in a recent live feed.

Valentine, 30, said the slur in a streaming video — available on the Paramount+ site — for the CBS series.

“Luke violated the BIG BROTHER code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur,” the network and series producers said in a statement to The Post. “He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

The incident was captured in a TikTok clip and featured the Florida resident in conversation with housemates Jared Fields, Cory Wurtenberger and Hisam Goueli.

“We’re in the G’s room, n—-r!” he said before apparently realizing what he uttered and covering his hand with his mouth.

Valentine — who is white — quickly apologized, uttering, “I’m sorry.” 

Fields, an African-American man, responded by claiming the phrase can make white people more uneasy than others of a different race.

“I don’t give a f–k,” Fields said. “Yeah, right, I should’ve made you feel uncomfortable real quick, like, ‘Whoa, bro, what you just say?’” 

“I should’ve been lying face down on the floor with you standing over me or something,” Valentine replied. “Well, I’m in trouble now. I’ve been in worse trouble.” 

Fans quickly reacted, taking to social media to express their vexation and call for his ouster.

“Big brother don’t play with me i want luke outta there NOW,” someone demanded on X, the platform formally known as Twitter.

Another person wrote: “Luke should’ve been immediately called into the diary room and held there until they removed him from the game. There should be no question of whether Big Brother tolerates hate speech or not but they continue to fail where action should be taken #BB25.”

“Luke slipped up! That is apart of his daily vocabulary and vernacular!! Big Brother needs to remove someone that is so casually using slurs. He said my bad because he slipped and he know it’s wrong but he chooses to use it depending on who he around,” one viewer said.

“Being a big brother fan is actually embarrassing there’s at least one racist controversy every year and the producers will never care enough to do anything about it,” another weighed in.

This is not the first time that the reality show has featured a player who used a racist slur.

“Big Brother: All-Stars” contestant Memphis Garrett was accused of calling fellow TV personality David Alexander the N-word back in 2020.

Following the episode’s airing, CBS reps told The Post that they don’t tolerate hate speech.

“The producers have listened to the scene using enhanced audio,” they said. “After close examination, it has been determined a racial epithet was not said or uttered. Hate speech will not be tolerated, and those who violate the policy will be removed from the ‘Big Brother’ house.”
