Brazen mob ransacks California Nordstrom Rack for designer bags: video

The outlet price just wasn’t cheap enough.

Brazen thieves ransacked a California Nordstrom Rack and made away with thousands of dollars in designer merchandise on two separate occasions in a one-month span, startling security footage showed.

The off-price location of the popular department store in Riverside was targeted by the daring burglars first on July 10, then again four weeks later, on Aug. 14, KTLA said, citing the Riverside Police Department.

During the July 10 incident, a group of at least six people stormed into the store and made a beeline for the handbag and accessories section, the security video showed.

The crew was caught on camera frantically grabbing armfuls of designer bags, with some even ripping the coveted items from locked security devices.

The group was then captured running out of the store, each loaded down with thousands of dollars in bags.

The whirlwind July incident was one of the latest examples of a flash mob robbery, or a heist during which a large group of thieves aims to overwhelm security guards and other employees while snatching as many items as possible, KTLA explained.

On Aug. 14, however, two men executed a more sedate robbery when they were caught on camera calmly walking out of the Nordstrom Rack with a bag allegedly stuffed with stolen goods, the outlet continued.

The poker-faced pair was not stopped by security or anyone else, the footage showed.

The Riverside Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post request for a comment on whether suspects from either robbery have been identified or captured.

The Nordstrom Rack heists come amid a spate of flash mob-style robberies in stories across southern California, including one trio that made off with garbage bags full of show boxes and other items from an East Los Angeles Nike earlier this month.
