“He is the leader of Brazil’s defensive line [at the South American Under-20 Championship] and has just signed for Zenit St Petersburg. His signing could require an investment of 30 million euros.
“Juni Calafat is convinced that the player is ready to join the first team next season.”
Barca chase ‘Brazilian Suarez’
Barcelona are hoping to complete the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque this summer. The 17-year-old is valued at over €30 million by Athletico Paranaense and has already been dubbed as the ‘Brazilian Luis Suarez’.
“The ‘Furacao’ have valued their player at 30 million euros plus variables that can reach 5 million, a price determined precisely by the sale of Endrick to Madrid.”
Spurs eye Palace centre-back
Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to improve their options at centre-back this summer, with Clement Lenglet set to return to Barcelona after a season-long loan in north London. Additionally, Davinson Sanchez’s time at Tottenham is expected to come to an end this summer. Spurs are exploring the possibility of signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
“Palace want to keep Guehi given his huge importance to Patrick Vieira’s team, but the club will consider selling if they receive a big offer. Any bids in-excess of £45million could tempt Palace.
“Inter Milan defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar and Red Bull Leipzig’s centre back Josko Gvardiol are also on Tottenham’s radar, though those three deals will be difficult to pull off.”
Five ‘serious’ bidders in for Man Utd
There are five “serious” bidders who are ready to battle for the opportunity to complete a takeover at Manchester United. This involves a group of Qatari investors, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and “multiple parties” from Saudi Arabia.
“Aside from Qatar, there is interest from the United States, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Britain’s richest man and a lifelong United supporter, has announced his attention to bid.
“It is understood that multiple parties from Saudi Arabia, which do not include the owners of Newcastle United, have been given such access. Whether they will now go on to make a formal offer is unclear.”
