Bridget Fonda, of ‘Jackie Brown’ fame, smiles in rare public outing

Bridget Fonda, star of the ’90s film “Single White Female,” was spotted in a rare public outing Friday in Los Angeles.

The “Jackie Brown” actress, 59, sported a long grey sweater, black capris, sneakers and a black crossbody bag while running errands, her hair loosely pulled back. She appeared upbeat on the trip.

The mom of one — a fixture on ritzy red carpets in the ’90s — was last seen in public in September, shopping at a landscaping supply store.

She was also spotted in January 2022 on her 58th birthday, for the first time in over a decade.

Her last major red carpet event was the “Inglourious Basterds” LA premiere in 2009.

She sported comfy sneakers and a long sweater in her latest outing.

Fonda, the niece of Jane Fonda and the daughter of the late Peter Fonda, retired from acting following a 2003 rollover car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway amid rainy conditions.

She married the famed composer Danny Elfman, 69, that same year.

They welcomed their son Oliver, now 18, in 2005.

Elfman, who performed at Coachella last year, has two daughters from his marriage to Geri Eisenmenger, Lola and Mali.

“I wonder what kind of satisfaction I would have with where I am now if I wasn’t part of a family that has done such phenomenal work,” Fonda told Movieline in a 1993 interview.

“I wonder what it would feel like to know that you’ve made it completely under your own steam. I sometimes wonder if I would be more at peace if I could know I made it by myself, instead of always wondering how many times my name got me in the door.”

The Post has reached out to Elfman’s representatives for comment.
