Brigitte Nielsen never thinks of ex-husband Sylvester Stallone
Brigitte Nielsen claims she has no idea what her ex-husband, Oscar-nominated actor Sylvester Stallone, is up to now.
The 60-year-old model and actress, who was married to the “Rocky” star for two years in the late ’80s, recently opened up to People about the failed union.
“[My marriage] to Sylvester Stallone was so long ago. I never think about him. Sometimes it feels like it never even happened,” she admitted.
Nielsen and Stallone, 77, got to know each other in 1985 when they both starred in “Rocky IV.” They went on to get engaged that same year.
They also acted alongside each other in “Cobra” in 1986, but were divorced by 1987.
The estranged pair reconnected for 2018’s “Creed II,” in which Nielsen reprised her role as Ludmilla Drago, the mother of Adonis Johnson’s rival Viktor Drago — and wife of Rocky Balboa’s on-screen enemy, Ivan Drago.
The actress described the experience as a “professional” encounter.
“I have no idea what that guy is up to. You move on, you know?” Nielsen continued about no longer keeping up with Stallone to People.
“You’re so busy doing other things that it can be like, ‘Wait, what was his name again?’” she laughed about her previous relationships.
The Post has contacted Stallone’s rep for comment.
Nielsen went on to marry Italian producer Mattia Dessì in 2006. The actress got pregnant at 54 and the duo welcomed their daughter, Frida, in 2018.
This is Dessì’s first marriage and only child.
Meanwhile, Dessì is Nielsen’s fifth marriage, and Frida is her fifth child. She’s also mom to sons Julian Winding, 36, Killian Gastineau, 30, Douglas Meyer, 27, and Raoul Meyer Jr, 25.
Stallone, for his part, has been married to former model Jennifer Flavin since 1997. The pair split in August 2022 after 25 years of marriage, but have since reconciled. They share three daughters: Sophia, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21.
The “Expendables” actor also shares two sons with his first wife, actress Sasha Czack: Seargeoh, 44, and Sage, who died in July 2012 at age 36 of heart disease.
