Britney Spears’ memoir bombshells about ex Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears unleashed decades of repressed feelings and memories in her new memoir, “The Woman in Me.”

Her bombshell book is full of juicy tidbits about her past relationships and issues, including love affairs with ex Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline, and her conservatorship that came to an end in 2021.

The “Pieces of Me” crooner, 41, and the former NSYNC frontman, 42, made headlines when they became an item in 1998.

Their relationship lasted for four years until their breakup in 2002.

In Spears’ book, she describes a plethora of experiences she had with Timberlake, including an abortion she suffered and cheating allegations.

The “Social Network” actor was reportedly “concerned” about what Spears would write about him in her novel, a source told Page Six on Oct. 16.

“He’s very curious what she’ll reveal from their relationship,” the insider said. “It’s eating at him.”

“This is Britney finally getting a chance to tell her empowering story,” they added, “and it’s nothing more than that.”

The Abortion

In 2000, when the “Radar” singer was just 19, she underwent an abortion because the “Lovestoned” singer didn’t want to be a father.

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

She continued: “I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision.”

“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” Spears explained.

Following the surprising revelation, fans believed that Spears’ 2003 music video for her song “Everytime” alluded to her abortion.

The Cheating

In her memoir, the former Mousketeer alleged that Timberlake cheated on her with “another celebrity.”

His song “Cry Me a River” was released after their split, and the music video seemingly alleged that Spears had been unfaithful to him.

She also confessed that she cheated on the “Bad Teacher” actor with her choreographer, Wade Robson.

“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she admitted about her rendezvous with the dancer.

But she then penned that she and Timberlake “agreed to move past” the infidelity, and she was again “loyal to Justin” and “only had eyes for him.”

The Breakup

The couple’s love came to a screeching halt in 2002 when Timberlake apparently broke up with Spears via a text — just minutes before she went to film her video for her tune “Overprotected (The Darkchild Remix).”

She scribed that she was “devastated” and wanted to stop making music after they called it quits. “I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she wrote. The text message allegedly read: “It’s over!!!”

The video’s director Chris Applebaum told Page Six that Spears allegedly went missing for nearly 40 minutes during production — which is a “long time” because it costs “20 grand to sit around.”

He then found her sitting on the floor, crying and her makeup smudged. “I can’t believe it. Look it. This happened,” she sobbed as she showed Applebaum the text.

Timberlake was reportedly very “concerned” over what Spears would say about him in her memoir.

While the mother of two was hesitant to finish filming, Applebaum said he encouraged her to keep going and stay strong by telling her: “If you don’t have it in you, I totally understand … but if you want to go out there and finish this last set-up in the rain, you can show him that he just made the biggest f—ing mistake of his life.”

The 2007 MTV VMAs

Years after their split, Spears and Timberlake crossed paths at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2007 before her disastrous performance onstage.

Spears was performing “Gimme More” at the show while Timberlake won the moonman for “Male Artist of the Year.”

In “The Woman in Me,” Spears wrote that their meeting was awkward, explaining: “It had been a while since I’d seen him. Everything was going great in his world.”

Spears went on: “He was at the top of his game in every way, and he had a lot of swagger. I was having a panic attack. I hadn’t rehearsed enough. I hated the way I looked. I knew it was going to be bad.”
