Brooklyn Nets fire head coach Vaughn days after 50-point defeat to Celtics

“The Brooklyn Nets have fired head coach Jacque Vaughn after a poor run which leaves the team in 11th place in the NBA Eastern Conference. Ahead of the All-Star break, the Nets were battered by the Boston Celtics in a 50-point defeat to cap off a turbulent first half of the season. Vaughn holds a record of 64-65 in his latest 129-game stint as Nets coach, where he oversaw 129 games.”
