Bruce Springsteen postpones September shows over peptic ulcer disease symptoms

Bruce Springsteen has postponed all of his September concert dates as the legendary rocker is treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease.

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” a statement posted on The Boss’ Instagram Wednesday night read.

“First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support,” it added.

“We’ve been having a blast at our US shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce.”

As the 73-year-old’s statement alluded, two of the now-affected dates are rescheduled Philadelphia shows that were set for last month, but the “Dancing In the Dark” singer fell ill and pushed them to this month.

The post further claimed that Springsteen’s medical advisers made the decision for him to push back his September performances.

Symptoms of peptic ulcers include pain in the upper part of your abdomen, feeling full too soon while eating a meal, nausea and vomiting, as well as bloating and belching, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease. 

Springsteen’s statement did not specify what symptoms he’s experiencing.

The Post has contacted Springsteen’s reps for comment.

Springsteen and The E Street Band had nine dates scheduled this month, starting with Thursday’s show in Syracuse, and wrapping Sept. 29 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.

He just performed at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on Sept. 1.
