Bruce Willis’ daughter shares touching Father’s Day photo: ‘So pure and beautiful’

Rumer Willis made the most of her daughter’s first Father’s Day.

The 34-year-old daughter of actor Bruce Willis and Demi Moore shared a touching photo of her father holding 9-week-old baby Louetta Isley as the “Sixth Sense” star celebrated his first Father’s Day since he was diagnosed with dementia in February.

“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life,” Rumer captioned the post. “His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful.”

“Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou,” she continued. “Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game.”

Rumer and her partner, Derek Richard Thomas, welcomed their first daughter on April 18.

Rumer also wished Thomas a happy first Father’s Day in the post.

“I’m so grateful our girl has a papa that loves her so much and someone so goofy and weird so she knows that’s ok for her to be too,” she gushed. “Thank you for the greatest girl I could imagine in my wildest dreams. We love you.”

The “Die Hard” star, 67, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February.

He had been previously diagnosed with aphasia in the spring of 2022, at which time he announced he was stepping away from acting.

In May, Tallulah Willis spoke to Vogue about her father’s diagnosis, saying he spends most of his time and home with his current wife, Emma Heming, 44 — particularly in the office, which “is filled with the knickknacks he has collected: vintage toy cars, coins, rocks, objects made of brass.”

“He likes things that feel heavy in the hand, that he can spin around in his fingers,” she added in the interview.

“There’s always music playing,” she continued. “My dad is an excellent musician in his own right, an accomplished harmonica player, and he loves his oldies, which span genres from Patsy Cline to Nina Simone.”
