Bryan Adams’ fan thrown off stage after taking over mic mid-show

It’s the latest in a series of summer flings.

After reports of multiple musicians dodging items being flung on stage, Canadian singer Bryan Adams has become yet another star to be accosted on stage mid-performance.

A fan got a little bit too enthusiastic during the singer’s live performance of “Summer of ’69” in Salt Lake City earlier this month — jumping on stage and taking the microphone to belt out the hit.

The uninvited guest performer joined Adams on stage to sing, “Bought it at the five and dime,” into the microphone — much to Adams’ amusement.

The ultra-fan managed to belt out a few more lines before security came and took him off stage — with the singer not missing a beat of the famous song, coming back in for the iconic lyrics: “Was the summer of ’69.”

Adams was so bemused by the incident he posted a clip on his Instagram, writing, “Sometimes you just gotta laugh…#stagecrasher #summerof69,” in the caption.

Fans commented on the crasher, applauding Adams’ professionalism.

“He just stepped back, let the crazy be crazy, let the professionals do their job, and continued like NOTHING had happened,” one fan recalled.

“He actually wasn’t that bad, kudos to Bryan for handling it so well…should have sang the rest of the song together lol,” laughed another.

Adams is currently on tour with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, who are scheduled to play in Phoenix next week.

It’s not the first time this summer a singer has been caught off-guard by an object — or person — making its way into the spotlight.

On Monday, Miranda Lambert stirred up controversy during her Las Vegas residency when she stopped mid-show to chastise a group of women who were reportedly taking selfies during one of her more emotional songs.

Several weeks ago, singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha, 33, was injured in New York City by a fan who hurled his phone at her and smacked her in the eye, forcing her to cancel the remainder of her concert and get stitches.
