Cameron Diaz is ‘shocked and saddened’ by Jamie Foxx’s health status: report

Cameron Diaz is reportedly “shocked and saddened” by her friend and “Annie” co-star Jamie Foxx’s medical emergency.

The duo was filming their upcoming Netflix movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta in April when Foxx, 55, was hospitalized for an undisclosed “medical complication.”

“One day they were working together, and the next he was just gone,” a source told People on Tuesday. “She wanted to be supportive and help out in any way, but his family has kept his status very quiet.”

The incident reportedly did not happen on set and Foxx was not taken to the hospital by emergency vehicle, People previously confirmed.

“Back In Action” was 50-year-old Diaz’s return to acting since she declared herself retired from Tinsel Town back in 2018.

However, the film is now in jeopardy as an employee was allegedly fired recently after someone apparently attempted to steal more than $40,000 from the “Blame It” rapper.

A source told the Sun that the film has been nothing short of a “nightmare” and “there have been a lot of delays” with “an investigation into everything going on.”

“It sounds as though they tried to offer up a Rolex watch as part of the deal,” the insider said of the alleged scam against Foxx.

“People will be glad when this thing finally wraps,” they added about the investigation.

The Post has contacted reps for Diaz and Foxx for comment.

Meanwhile, Foxx’s “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!” co-star Porscha Coleman, 37, provided Entertainment Tonight with an update on Foxx Sunday night at the BET Awards.

“I’ve talked to people very close to Foxx, [he] is doing well. I hate that the media outlets kept running with the narrative of what was going on without having the proper information.”

Coleman added: “He’s resting. He’s well. And he’s going to be back. Trust and believe.”

Neither Foxx nor his family has publicly declared what kind of medical complication he is experiencing, but his family members have been photographed coming and going at a physical rehab center in Chicago.

The facility apparently specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehabilitation.

That would make sense in regard to Mike Tyson’s claim last month that Foxx suffered a stroke.

“He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. I have no idea what happened to him,” Tyson, 56, claimed on the PBD Podcast.
