Carreras departs from Newcastle Falcons to Top 14 side Bayonne with immediate effect
“Mateo Carreras has been allowed to depart to Bayonne from Newcastle Falcons with immediate effect. The Argentine winger had agreed to move to Bayonne at the end of the 2023-24 Gallagher Premiership season, but an injury crisis at the Top 14 club means his move has been fast tracked. Carreras scored 16 tries in 39 games during his time at Newcastle Falcons.”
