Kyren Wilson enjoyed three straight wins on Monday on the opening day of Championship League Group 6 in Leicester.
The 2020 world finalist completed victories over Sam Craigie (3-1), Fan Zhengyi (3-2) and Elliott Slessor (3-2) to top the section on three points with Slessor, Joe O’Connor and Pang Junxu on two points in the chase to reach the last four at the invitational event.

Group 6 concludes with the top four in the section contesting a semi-final and final on Tuesday evening.
The champion from each group qualifies for the winners’ group on March 12 and 13, with the other top four players continuing to Group 6 as the bottom two players are eliminated at the end of each group.
