‘Chicago P.D.’ star Tracy Spiridakos to exit after Season 11
Detective Hailey Upton is leaving the Intelligence Unit.
Tracy Spiridakos is exiting “Chicago P.D.” after eight seasons, Variety reported on Tuesday.
The actress, 35, has played Upton on the NBC drama since joining in Season 4 as a recurring character. She became a series regular in Season 5.
Spiridakos’ former costar Jesse Lee Spencer previously left the Dick Wolf-created show in the middle of Season 10, with his final episode airing in October 2022.
For Soffer, he wanted to explore more opportunities following his work as Detective Jay Halstead on the program for 10 years.
Several other actors have exited the One Chicago universe (which includes “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago Med”), with Sophia Bush, Jon Seda, Elias Koreas and Brian Geraghty notably saying goodbye to “Chicago P.D.” over the years.
The procedural series also stars Jason Beghe (Hank Voight), Patrick Flueger (Adam Ruzek), Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess), LaRoyce Hawkins (Kevin Atwater) and Amy Morton (Trudy Platt).
After delays, “Chicago P.D.” is reportedly set to return for Season 11 in 2024 pending the current SAG-AFTRA strike.
