Christian Pulisic out for a ‘couple of months’ in another injury blow for Chelsea, as Joao Felix joins on loan
Graham Potter has revealed Christian Pulisic is out for a “couple of months” as Chelsea’s injury list continues to grow.
Chelsea are already without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana and Armando Broja.

“Christian’s going to be out for a couple of months we think,” said Chelsea manager Potter.
“Hopefully it will be less, but that’s the timeframe there.
“We think Raheem will be out for less time than Christian. We’re still evaluating the actual extent of it, but hopefully it will be less than that.”
The Portugal international trained with Chelsea on Wednesday and could be in contention to make his debut against Fulham on Thursday.
“He is a quality player who can make a difference in the final third of the pitch. He’s young but still has experience,” said Potter.
“We have been aware of it for a while, these things do not happen quickly. Maybe the injuries have sharpened the focus a little bit.
“It is nice to get him here, get him training today and it is positive for us.
“We will see for the game. We are waiting for the confirmation on that, if he can play. He has been training regularly and has had game time, so from a physical perspective he can go straight in.”
Chelsea have only won one Premier League game since beating Aston Villa on October 15 and are 10 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
Potter, who succeeded Thomas Tuchel in September, has come under pressure, but says the situation is not as bad as it might seem.
“If you look at what we have at the moment, and where we’re at with the players we’ve got out, it can skew the picture a little bit.
“If we have those guys back, the picture changes. I don’t think we’re as far away as it looks from the outside.
“You have to go window to window to improve the squad, develop the culture and football idea. As much as these periods are not nice, you have to use them as a way to get stronger. But at the time they’re not pleasant.”
