Christine Tran Ferguson reveals son Asher, 1, is ‘fighting for his life’

New York City-based influencer Christine Tran Ferguson, known online by her username @tourdelust, revealed on Monday that her son, Asher, 1, is “fighting for his life” in the ICU.

Ferguson shared the news via an Instagram post.

“Please God, give us a miracle and save my sweet Asher,” Ferguson wrote in the caption, which was accompanied by a carousel of photos, including one of him presumably in the hospital.

She continued, “We need you, we miss your laugh, your smile, we need you here with mama & dada. Please help us pray for our precious Asher who is fighting for his life in the ICU.”

Ferguson did not disclose any further details.

The Post reached out to her reps for comment.

She also shared a similar sentiment about Asher on her Instagram story Monday, writing, “Please keep praying for precious Asher.”

Ferguson is a travel and lifestyle blogger who boasts over 508,000 followers on Instagram and over 274,000 on TikTok. She is the founder of a popular site called Tour de Lust, where she shares more about her travel adventures and tips.

She gave birth to her son on April 20, 2022.

At the time, she penned an emotional Instagram post detailing the birth, explaining that she had to undergo an unplanned C-section because his heart rate kept dropping as she was in labor.

“The doctor told us he had the cord around his neck so when the contractions happened it would tighten around his neck which led to his heart rate dropping,” Ferguson wrote in the caption. “I’m just so glad our amazing doctors delivered him safely.”

The message continued, “It was awhile before I got to finally hold him once I was in the recovery room. I couldn’t believe it, he’s FINALLY HERE in my arms! I feel so blessed and lucky to be your mother and understand what everyone has told me. There is no love like this.”

On her Instagram page, Ferguson often shares photos of her son and husband Ryan Ferguson.

She also shares parenting tips on her blog, with one of her most recent posts from February titled, “What to pack when traveling with a baby.”

During a July 2020 interview with Naira NYC, she explained that she loved to “showcase” different travel destinations.

“I love showcasing destinations and what they’re all about,” she told the digital magazine.

“My feed is bright and airy, and I’m always smiling in my photos showcasing positivity. I also love to shoot food from around the world.”
