VOWS
Because of an editing error, an article last Sunday about the wedding of Emily Todebush and Garrett Arwa misidentified, in some copies, the political office that Haley Stevens holds. She is a U.S. representative from Michigan, not a state representative. The article also misstated the name of a city in Michigan. It is Royal Oak, not Royal Oaks.
REAL ESTATE
An article last Sunday about octagonal homes misspelled the surname of a historian whose website is a clearinghouse for information about that type of house. She is Ellen L. Puerzer, not Peurzer.
BOOK REVIEW
The Editors’ Choice column on Dec. 4 misstated the given name of the author of the story collection “The Consequences.” He is Manuel Muñoz, not Miguel.
The bibliographical information with a review on Dec. 4 about “Fit Nation” misstated the author’s given name. She is Natalia Mehlman Petrzela, not Natalie. (The error also appeared in the table of contents.) In addition, the review referred incorrectly to the early fitness celebrity Jack LaLanne. He first opened a gym in Oakland, Calif., in 1936, not 1958.
The By the Book column on Dec. 4 misspelled the surname of the author of “The Inevitable: Dispatches on the Right to Die.” She is Katie Engelhart, not Englehart.
Errors are corrected during the press run whenever possible, so some errors noted here may not have appeared in all editions.
