Creepy TikTok user secretly filming women during nights out in UK

Scores of young women who have set out for a fun night with friends in the United Kingdom have been secretly filmed by a stranger who uploads the footage to a creepy TikTok account.

The mysterious user Walking in China, or @dinamimi59, has racked up millions of views for sharing close-up clips of girlfriends headed out to bars and nightclubs across Europe, most frequently in Manchester.

Although the account claims to “record the nightlife of the city,” male revelers are noticeably absent from the overwhelming content, which the account posts with incredible frequency.

Men are typically only included in the videos when they are linked arm-in-arm with a beautiful girl, especially if she is wearing tight and revealing clothing.

Whether they are chatting with their friends or sitting alone on a curb eating snacks, none of the filmed women ever appear to notice the camera, prompting concern that the cameraman is either wearing a hidden camera or, even more worrisome, shooting with a long lens from far away.

One popular TikToker who was featured in two separate videos slammed the account as “so creepy” and said she never had any idea she was being filmed.

“I can confirm that all the girls in this video are being recorded without their consent,” Amy Adams said.

“I think the whole premise of this account is so disgusting because he puts it as like ‘nightlife in Manchester’ when in reality it’s just some guy recording young girls on a night out.

“I think you may argue that recording in public it’s legal, there’s nothing wrong with it, just because it isn’t wrong doesn’t make it right.”

While the user’s identity remains a mystery, internet sleuths believe it is a man, especially because of the toxicity that is allowed to flourish in the comments section of every video.

Most are from men of all ages who are objectifying the young women, whether their outfit is modest or scantily clad.

A substantial portion of the comments chastise the girls for their clothing choices, with some implying that they must be sex workers — and others asking how much a night with them would cost.

Recent videos were flooded with comments from other women rushing to defend the young women and applaud them for enjoying themselves.

“Awesome! Let them enjoy their youth and have fun!” one woman wrote.

“Everyone in these comments needs to remember the way they dress has NOTHING to do with saying yes!!!!” said another.
