Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘Harry Potter’ glasses headed to auction

These glasses are casting a profitable spell over the auction block.

The original glasses worn by “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe could sell for up to 20,000 British pounds, or about $22,358.

According to documents, the circular-frame glasses were bought as a prop for 114 pounds before becoming a worldwide icon.

The glasses are one of 57 pairs ordered for the now-33-year-old Radcliffe for 2001’s first installment of the film series, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” according to Jam Press. They were dubbed “NHS style” after the UK’s National Health Service.

“This is one of several pairs of glasses made for the film. Bordered in black matte finish with no nose plates,” reads the item description.

“The silver metal earpieces are tipped with clear plastic,” continues the description. “Also included are a pair of brown plastic ear tips and a copy of the film.”
