Danny Masterson’s wife Bijou Phillips files for divorce after rape conviction

Danny Masterson’s wife, Bijou Phillips, has reportedly filed for divorce less than two weeks after the “That ’70s Show” star was sentenced to 30 years in prison for rape.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Phillips filed to end their marriage in a California court on Monday.

“Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter,” her attorney, Peter A. Lauzon, told the outlet in a statement.

“This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.”

The couple share a 9-year-old daughter, Fianna Francis.

They met in 2004, got engaged in 2009, and married in October 2011.

The Post has contacted reps for Masterson and Phillips for comment.

Just last week, an insider told People that Phillips had no intention of divorcing Masterson.

“She has had a very difficult time since the conviction,” the source claimed.

“She loves Danny and has no plans to file for divorce. She will be by his side for it all.”
