‘Dead body’ on tourist beach turns out to be sex doll
Was it a casualty of sex on the beach?
Thai police were flabbergasted after responding to the scene of a dead body on a beach — only to discover that it was something far less dire.
The false alarm occurred Thursday after beach-goers spotted what they thought was a woman’s corpse on Bang Saen beach in the Thai province of Chon Buri, Jam Press reported.
Alarmed, they called the police, who arrived and discovered that the so-called stiff was actually a hyper-realistic sex doll. The sex-cessory, allegedly a Japanese model known as the “AV Idol,” reportedly costs around £469 (around $553).
Photos from the scene show the frisky flotsam, which is sitting in the surf with its naked derriere exposed while a shirt is draped over its head. Authorities reportedly removed the garment to reveal that the doll didn’t have a head, local rag The Thaiger reported.
Officials suspect that the “topless” doll-ppelganger was discarded in a river or canal before making its way to the ocean.
The salacious sex toy has since been removed from the beach, however, authorities are reportedly keeping it at the station “in case its owner wants to take it back,” per the Thaiger. As of yet, no one has come forward to claim the doll.
Needless to say, the internet had a field day with the hilarious case of mistaken identity.
Facebook page Chorb Jang Bang Saen (I love Bang Saen) uploaded a picture of the doll with the caption:
“Bored already and threw it away like this!” they wrote, according to The Thaiger. “Remember, you cheeky b—-rds, the latest piece of marine trash to wash up on this beach is a rubber sex doll. Anything can happen in Bang Saen.”
This isn’t the first time a sex doll has been mistaken for a stiff. Last June, emergency rescue divers in Japan were flummoxed after responding to the scene of a nude “drowning woman” — only to discover that it was actually a floating life-size sex doll.
