‘Devil Wears Prada’ reunion Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt

Reuniting at an award show? Groundbreaking. 

Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt will have a mini “Devil Wears Prada” reunion on Feb. 24 at the SAG Awards.

The famous trio will come together 17 years after the release of the 2006 iconic comedy/drama movie to present an award at the ceremony.

While the SAG Awards have been a host-less show since 2021, “Ted Lasso” star Phil Dunster and “Red, White and Royal Blue” actor Taylor Zakhar Perez have been tapped as this year’s “ambassadors” for the ceremony.

“The Devil Wears Prada” was loosely based on Lauren Weisberger’s book of the same name, written about her experience as an assistant to longtime Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Streep portrayed the Wintour-esque editor of Runway magazine, Miranda Priestly, while Hathaway and Blunt’s characters, Andrea Sachs and Emily Charlton, respectively, played her over-worked assistants.

The movie has become a cult classic amongst millennials, with its witty and sharp humor producing multiple quotable lines.

Blunt is up for a SAG this year for her supporting role in “Oppenheimer,” and she also earned her first “Oscar” nomination.

This is a rare year that Streep is not up for an Academy Award, but she’s been more active on the small screen as of late, with her role on the hit Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building.” She’s been nominated for the SAG Award for “Outstanding Performance By an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”

Hathaway is not up for an Oscar or a SAG award this year, but she’s got a steamy rom-com “The Idea of You” coming up, in which she plays a divorced mom who gets entangled with a younger man in a boy band.

Additional presenters at the ceremony include Sterling K. Brown, Michael Cera, Jessica Chastain, Jeffrey Wright, Brendan Fraser, Issa Rae, Cillian Murphy, Margot Robbie, America Ferrera and Billie Eilish.

Idris Elba will open the ceremony, and Jennifer Aniston will present the 59th SAG Lifetime Achievement Award to Barbra Streisand.

The SAG Awards will stream live on Netflix on Feb. 24, 2024, at 8 p.m. EST from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Tan France and Elaine Welteroth will host the official pre-show, which streams live at 7 p.m. EST on Feb. 24 on Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok.
