Did British PM Rishi Sunak mock Prince Harry in Christmas video?
I’m sorry, the old Prince Harry can’t come to the phone right now — because he moved across the pond.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s new Christmas video has royal fans raising their eyebrows.
The 43-year-old politician’s holiday clip has viewers questioning if he was mocking the Duke of Sussex, 39.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, moved away from the United Kingdom in 2020 after taking a step back as senior members of the royal family.
In the holiday video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Sunak joked that he was alone at his 10 Downing Street residence — and quipped that he was going to enjoy the peace and quiet.
He then began cuddling his cat Larry, knocking soda cans over the floor, watching the 2003 comedy “Elf” and roasting marshmallows before his phone rang.
“Uh, No. 10 press office,” Sunak said half-heartedly.
“Harry, you’ve got the wrong number,” he groaned.
Sunak then hung up the telephone and went on with his day.
Fans couldn’t help but laugh at the possible teasing of Harry, with one person writing: “Absolutely Brilliant … lol .. Harry, you’ve got the wrong number …”
“Brilliant Rishi, you’ve made many of us laugh our Christmas socks off,” someone giggled.
Another added: “Laughing so much. Love you hanging up on Harry. Merry Christmas.”
But then someone asked: “Which Harry is this mate?”
It is a possibility that Sunak was actually referring to British journalist Harry Cole.
Cole infamously wrote about the PM’s mobile number being leaked earlier this year.
The “Suits” star, 42, and Harry, meanwhile, have been in an ongoing feud with the Firm since they moved to Montecito, Calif. three years ago. Despite their new life in the States, the Invictus Games founder is reportedly missing his past life in England.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield made the claim recently in an interview with GB News, saying she believes that Harry is “lonely” living so far away from home.
“I think that there are elements to Prince Harry, I do think he truly misses his family,” Schofield stated.
“I do think Harry is likely very lonely … and misses the chaos that surrounds those fun Christmases [with the Royal Family],” she added.
Harry and Markle did not join the royal family for Christmas at Sandringham this year, choosing instead to celebrate with son Archie, 4, and daughter Lili, 2, away from King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton for another year in a row.
