Dolly Parton blasts rumors she cheated on husband of 57 years: ‘Crazy’

Dolly Parton is blasting rumors she had multiple affairs with her famous male co-stars over the course of her long career.

The country music icon, 77, set the record straight in a new interview with the online publication Saga Exceptional, after being asked about the wildest things she’s heard about herself in the media.

“I’ve heard so many crazy rumors about me through the years,” she began.

“The worst stories were ones that my back was broke because my boobs were so heavy! And they’ve had me having an affair with everybody I’ve ever worked with,” the “9 to 5” crooner added.

Parton has been married to longtime love Carl Dean since 1966. The singer’s spouse is notoriously private, and is rarely seen in public.

It was previously reported that the music legend had bedded both Sylvester Stallone and Burt Reynolds back in the 1980s.

Parton and the “Rocky” star appeared in the 1984 film “Rhinestone,” while she starred with Reynolds in 1982’s “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.”

Meanwhile, Parton also spoke about her and her husband’s decision to not have children — one that she does not regret.

“I haven’t missed [having kids] like I thought I might,” she added.

The “Jolene” singer went on: “When you’re a young couple, you think you’re going to have kids, but it just wasn’t one of those burning things for me.”

“I had my career and my music and I was traveling,” she said. “If I’d had kids, I’d have stayed home with them, I’m sure, and worried myself to death about them.”

The Grammy winner then confessed: “With everything that’s going on, I’d hate to be bringing a child into this world right now.”

Parton has been in the music biz since the 1960s, having started out songwriting for other artists before embarking on her own album.

The Tennessee native has no plans to retire anytime soon.

She appeared on the Greatest Hits Radio show back in July, saying she would rather “drop dead in the middle of a song onstage” than take a step back from singing.

“That’s how I hope to go. Of course, we don’t have much of a choice in that,” she joked.

“As long as I’m able to work, as long as my health is good and my husband is good. I mean, the only way that I would ever slow down or stop would be for that reason,” she said.

“But in the meantime, I’m gonna make hay while the sun shines.”
