‘Doomsday Mom’ Lori Vallow and husband texted about inflicting pain on kids

“Doomsday Mom” Lori Vallow Daybell and her cult leader husband Chad Daybell callously texted each other about inflicting pain on her kids ahead of their gruesome murders, it was revealed in court on Monday.

An FBI agent testified in court Monday that Chad Daybell texted Vallow Daybell on July 29, 2019 and spoke about hurting the “3s” — which referred to Vallow Daybell’s children, according to KSL.com.

“Do you want me to cause pain yet to those two 3s you’re riding with?” Chad Daybell texted, according to messages read by former Special agent Douglas Hart.

“Probably hold off on them until we arrive,” she responded. “They will be [miserable] to deal with. But I’ll text you if they start acting up and we can zap them.”

“Yes, if they are going to act up we’ll at least give them a reason to scream,” Daybell texted. “I love, cherish, treasure and adore you.”

Dozens of the couple’s disturbing texts were revealed to an Idaho courtroom Monday in Vallow Daybell’s trial for the murders of her two children, Joshua JJ Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16, and Daybell’s former wife Tammy Daybell, 49.

Weeks later, they texted about a “plan” for the children, the local outlet reported.

“Do you think there is a perfectly orchestrated plan to take the children? And we just have to wait for it to be carried out?” Vallow Daybell asked her husband. “I feel lost. Like I should be doing something to help.”

“There is a plan being orchestrated for the children,” he responded.

Weeks later, both Tylee and JJ were killed and buried in the backyard of Daybell’s Salem, Idaho home, prosecutors said.

JJ had been asphyxiated with a plastic bag and his mouth was covered by duct tape, according to earlier testimony.

Tylee’s death was ruled a homicide, but medical examiners were unable to determine a cause of death because her remains were severely burned and decomposed by the time they were found.

A forensic anthropologist testified that an animal gnawed the back of one of the teen’s legs and that her pelvis area suffered repeated “sharp traumas” likely caused by a toll with a point or bevel.

Hart read a trove of texts during the 19th day of testimony in the murder trial. He had recovered the messages from Vallow Daybell’s iCloud as part of the murder investigation, according to KSL.com.

The investigator said the messages showed the couple was preparing for the children’s deaths.

For instance, Daybell texted Vallow Daybell on July 18, 2019, that he had “been instructed to focus my efforts on Hillary, so I will” — referring to the demon named Hillary that the couple claimed was possessing Tylee, making her evil, according to Hart.

“OK. Find out her percentage for me and JJs,” Vallow Daybell responded.

“She is at 0.13. I turned up the pain to 10 and placed a spiritual virus in her,” Daybell said. “He is at 99.99…”

Hart said the couple used the percentages to determine how close to death a person was — with zero being the closest.

Vallow Daybell is facing charges of murder, conspiracy and grand theft in connection to the killings of her two children. Her closely-watched trial began last month.

Daybell will be tried for the murders separately.
