Dwayne Johnson rocks theaters with ‘Black Adam,’ taking in over $26M at box office

He sure knows how to “Rock” the box office.

“Black Adam,” starring Dwyane Johnson, took in a staggering $26.8 on Friday, according to IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

The DC Comics adaption is expected to rake in $62.2 million on its opening weekend, according to Variety.

Landing in the second place spot with $6.4 million was “Ticket to Paradise,” which premiered on Friday.

In the Universal rom-com, George Clooney and Julia Roberts play divorced parents who attempt to take down their daughter’s wedding.

The Post called the film, which was set in Bali, but filmed in Australia, “rotten,” “flimsy” and “deeply comfortable.”

“Smile” dropped into third place, bringing home over $2.5 million.

The supernatural horror flick, which was originally supposed to only be released digitally on Paramount Plus, will soon be available to stream, according to Billboard.

“Halloween Ends,” which was in first place last Friday, had a lucrative box office beginning, with a $58 million-dollar take on its opening weekend, according to Collider.

However, the movie, which reportedly cost $50 million to produce, dropped down to fourth, taking in close to $2.5 million.

The live-action/CGI adaption of the book series, “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile,” scaled down to fifth with close to $1.2 million.
