The 20-year-old also recently missed out on the ATX Open in Austin, Texas due to tonsillitis, meaning she has not played a competitive match since her Australian Open second-round defeat to Coco Gauff on January 18.
Raducanu burst onto the tennis scene in 2021 as she stormed to historic US Open triumph in just her second Grand Slam appearance.
However, fitness issues have disrupted her progress since then in 2022, while she suffered an ankle injury at the ASB Classic in Auckland, two weeks before the Australian Open.
A lack of action saw her slip down the rankings and, currently placed at number 80 in the world, needing wild cards for both Indian Wells and the upcoming Miami Open.
