While United will play host in their fifth-round tie, Manchester City face an away trip to Championship side Bristol City where they will be the overwhelming favourites.
There is another potential all-Premier League tie on the cards as Fulham will face the winner of Sunderland and Leeds United.
Leicester City are waiting to discover if they will play Blackburn or Birmingham City, while Brighton will travel to Stoke City.
Wrexham enjoyed a dramatic 3-3 draw with Sheffield United, watched by their Hollywood co-owner Ryan Reynolds as they look to rise up the football pyramid. They could be given a glamour tie of their own as the winner of their replay will take on Tottenham.
There is the guarantee of at least one team from the lower divisions coming through the fifth round to the quarter-finals, as Ipswich and Burnley face one another for the right to play the winner of Sheffield Wednesday v Fleetwood Town.
