FIS Ski Jumping World Cup 2023-24: Eva Pinkelnig claims Normal Hill double in Hinzenbach

Eva Pinkelnig celebrated her second victory of the weekend by picking up the Normal Hill double in Hinzenbach.

Pinkelnig soared to two monster jumps of over 90 metres to earn an overall score of 246.5, 7.7 points ahead of silver medallist Nika Prevc of Slovenia.

Prevc made the podium after narrowly missing out in fourth on the previous day and continues to hold the overall World Cup lead with 1079 points.

Pinkelnig is now the 18-year-old Slovenian’s closest competitor, but still trails by almost 200 points, setting Prevc up for a possible overall victory at the upcoming World Cup final in her home country.
