Florence Pugh scene allegedly cut from episode of ‘Ted Lasso’

Amid the “Don’t Worry Darling” drama that has taken over the internet, a Twitter user may have discovered a different role Florence Pugh almost had — with Olivia Wilde’s ex.

“I’ve just learned that Florence Pugh had a cameo in ‘Ted Lasso’ that got cut,” the tweet claimed. “This story has layers, people.”

In the now-viral picture shared on social media, Pugh, 26, can be seen sitting solo at a picnic table looking at her phone with a film camera aimed in front of her.

While it’s unclear about the origin of the photo, where it was taken or the context, the tweet claimed she had a “cameo” in “Ted Lasso,” the popular Apple TV+ comedy series starring Jason Sudeikis, 46.

In the photo, Pugh is seen drinking a beer while wearing what appears to be a shirt representing the show’s fictional football club, AFC Richmond, in front of the Crown & Anchor, the pub featured in the series.

The photo also circulated on Reddit in 2021, with an additional picture from a camera frame showing Pugh at the same bench, but wearing a jacket.

The tweet comes as an alleged feud between Pugh, whom Wilde sassily called “Miss Flo” in a video leaked by Shia LaBeouf, and the director hit a fever pitch, despite Wilde denying claims in the rumor mill.

The Post has reached out to reps for both Pugh and “Ted Lasso” for comment.

Pugh’s now-ex-boyfriend Zach Braff was directing Episode 2 of Season 1 of the series — for which he received an Emmy nomination — which makes it possible that this was the episode that would’ve had her cameo, or so Twitter speculated.

While it’s unknown if Pugh indeed had a cameo, a background extra role or was just visiting the set, the scene doesn’t appear to have made it into the final cut of the show.

However, that didn’t stop eagle-eyed fans from making the connection and speculating that the “Little Women” actress was chopped amid rampant speculation about the relationship between Pugh and Wilde.

“I wish they kept Florence Pugh’s cameo in ‘Ted Lasso’ just to add another layer to all the drama happening rn,” someone on Twitter wrote.

The revelation comes as the drama surrounding “Don’t Worry Darling” — starring Pugh, Wilde, Harry Styles and Chris Pine — is reaching new heights.

This new association with “Ted Lasso” links back to just one part of Pugh’s supposed falling out with Wilde as sources claim Pugh was upset Wilde, 38, started her affair with Styles, 28, while still with Sudeikis.

“I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry,” an insider told Page Six.

Pugh skipped out on the film’s press conference and photo call, but arrived at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere, which spawned even more gossip.

Fans were also speculating that Styles had spat on Chris Pine at the premiere, but reps for Pine denied the claims.

As for the drama surrounding LaBeouf: He was originally cast in Styles’ role but left the film in the fall of 2020. Wilde told Variety that LaBeouf was fired from the project, stating his acting process “was not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions,” and his departure meant keeping Pugh “safe” on set.
