Florida man Tyler Fayconsolo smashes head through car window in wild police chase

An intoxicated Florida man desperate to escape pursuing cops ditched his car Sunday after a lengthy police chase — but not before head-butting the window to flop “out like a dolphin,” cops said.

Wild bodycam footage shows Tyler Fayconsolo, 24, flinging himself through the passenger side window after smashing through the glass with nothing but his skull.

“That is one way to use your head,” the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement accompanying the bizarre car and foot chase.

Fayconsolo immediately bolted and continued to flee on foot, but did not make it far before a K9 forced him to submit to officers.

He was taken to a hospital where he allegedly admitted that he was “high as f–k.”

Police had been hunting down Fayconsolo for several miles since catching him driving erratically upon leaving a gas station in Ocala, a city roughly 80 miles northwest of Orlando.

The bodycam footage shows the allegedly intoxicated driver swerving in and out of his lane, including onto the opposite side of the roadway and through large swaths of greenery.

Tyler Fayconsolo was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, aggravated fleeing with injury or damage, and resisting without violence.

At one point, the runaway driver almost struck two individuals who were parked at a trailhead Fayconsolo allegedly plowed through.

At times Fayconsolo topped speeds of 100 miles per hour as he fled.

In separate attempts to stop Fayconsolo, officers conducted a pit maneuver and laid down stop sticks — but the fugitive continued speeding with four flat tires and his rear bumper dragging along the road, video shows.

Eventually, Fayconsolo’s vehicle was disabled when he smashed through a residential fence that was laid in concrete.

“This is where Tyler used his head, but not how you should … he head-butted the passenger side window and came flying out like a dolphin,” the sheriff’s office said. “But in Tyler fashion, he stopped using his head once again and thought running from a K-9 was a great idea.”

K9 Jet can be seen in the video chomping at Fayconsolo’s upper legs as officers race to catch up to the dog.

“He’s biting me, please! Stop him, please!” Fayconsolo screamed moments before deputies released the hound and cuffed the driver.

Fayconsolo then tries to tell officers “somebody tried to rob” him, to which an officer simply says: “Okay.”

After head-butting the window, the suspect dove out of the car landing on his hands.
