French Open: Day 12 order of play and schedule – When are Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka playing?
It’s Day 12 of the French Open and it’s time for the women’s semi-finals, with Iga Swiatek facing Beatriz Haddad Maia and Aryna Sabalenka against Karolina Muchova.
Whilst seeing Swiatek and Sabalenka in the final four might have been expected, the presence of 14th seed Haddad Maia – the first Brazilian to reach the semi-finals of Roland-Garros in the Open Era – and the unseeded Muchova at this stage was altogether less foreseeable.
Will the top two seeds meet in Saturday’s final, or is there a shock in store?

Top match – Swiatek v Haddad Maia
Can Iga Swiatek take another step closer to making it back-to-back Roland-Garros titles?
She was certianly in fine form against Coco Gauff, making a difficult match – after she had negotiated a testing start – appear routine.
Haddad Maia is the clear underdog, but can she make life uncomfortable for the Pole?
