Top women’s match – Iga Swiatek v Xinyu Wang
Iga Swiatek’s bid to win back-to-back French Open titles continues with a third-round encounter with China’s Xinyu Wang.
The Pole has already dished out two bagels in this tournament so far, and has spent under three hours on court so far from her two matches.
Can her opponent do anything to stop her march?
Top men’s match – Alexander Zverev v Frances Tiafoe
A match that could’ve graced a much later stage in the tournament sees Alexander Zverev take on Frances Tiafoe.
Zverev was giving Rafael Nadal a monumental battle last year at Roland-Garros until he suffered a serious ankle injury, but he is back this year and has looked in fine touch, especially in his second-round win over Alex Molcan.
It will be Zverev’s second night match of the tournament so far, having played under the lights against Molcan.
12th seed Tiafoe beat Aslan Karatsev to reach the third round.
Brit Watch
However, three is plenty of British interest in the doubles on Saturday, with Jamie Murray and Joe Salisbury both playing with their respective partners in the men’s doubles, Neal Skupski in both men’s and mixed doubles action, and Lloyd Glasspool also playing in the mixed doubles.
