The French Open is set for a Super Sunday with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka all in action as the fourth round begins.

They are complemented by Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daria Kasatkina, as they all eye a place in the quarter-finals.

The night match features Sabalenka, while the day crowd on Philippe-Chatrier will be able to take in Djokovic and Alcaraz, as well as Jessica Pegula’s conqueror Elise Mertens.

Top women’s match – Aryna Sabalenka v Sloane Stephens

Top billing on Sunday night will be Aryna Sabalenka’s compelling fourth-round meeting with 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens.

The pair take to Philippe-Chatrier as the scheduled night match, and it should be a fascinating battle as Sabalenka – so dominant in the tournament so far – faces a new quality of opponent in Stephens.

The winner will take on either Kasatkina or Elina Svitolina.

Top men’s match – Carlos Alcaraz v Lorenzo Musetti

There’s potentially one of the matches of the tournament in store third on Chatrier on Sunday as men’s top seed and world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz takes on arguably the form player at Roland-Garros 2023 so far, Lorenzo Musetti.

The Italian 17th seed has won every one of his matches in straight sets so far, and has only given up 11 games in the entirety of his past two contests, the latter of which seeing him knock out Cameron Norrie to extinguish British singles hopes.

Alcaraz will likely have his work cut out in this one, with the victor to take on either surprise package Sebastian Ofner or Tsitsipas.

Brit Watch

With no Brits left in the main singles draws, there is only British interest left in the doubles.

On Sunday, Jamie Murray and Lloyd Glasspool are both in action, the former in the mixed doubles, and the latter in the men’s doubles.
